Dr Syam Vikram is a highly qualified and experienced Senior Consultant and HOD in Surgical Oncology, currently serving at Mvr Cancer Centre and Research Institute since 2017. With a vast experience of over a decade in the field of surgical oncology, he has established himself as a renowned expert in his field.
He has a commendable educational background, having completed his FEBS, DrNB, DNB, and MBBS qualifications. Prior to join MVRCCRI, he served as a Consultant in Surgical Oncology at Aster Medcity.
Dr Syam’s clinical interests are diverse and range from Upper GI Oncology, Pancreatic Cancers, Gynaecologic Oncology, to Laparoscopic and Robotic Procedures. He has a passion for treating complex cases and finding innovative solutions to challenging problems. His expertise in these areas has earned him a reputation as a skilled and dedicated surgeon.
Dr. Syam is originally from Alappuzha. Besides his outstanding medical skills, Dr. Syam Vikram is also known for his artistic talents. He is also a talented poet and enjoys writing poems in his free time.

MV RAGHAVAN
The Visionary
Respectfully called MVR, the late MV Raghavan was one of the revolutionary leaders of the Communist movement in Kerala. Born in an ordinary family in Pappinissery, Kannur, his political life began in his early teens. He served two terms as Minister of Co-operation and Ports in Kerala during 1991-1996 and 2001-2006. MVR revolutionized the co-operative sector by taking the people-powered movement to healthcare and education in the State. MV Raghavan realized the role of the co-operative movement in social development and job creation and he was instrumental in setting up various institutions in the state.
